Wyoming's rig count falls to zero for only second time in 136 years

Oil price collapse is good for most states,
they use lots of energy.
Northeast and Midwest needs oil for heat in the winter or they will freeze in the dark.

But cheap oil is bad for oil producing states,
and coal

Wyoming is getting clobbered.
Alaska is worse.

Texas also getting hit.
#1 in wind and solar power too.
But a very big state,
can take a hit easier than Alaska and Wyoming.

Wyoming is big coal, that heats most big states.
Wyoming had to cut taxes on coal to help it compete against oil and gas fracking.
State budget huge hit.
