After Taylor Swift Endorsement, Phil Bredesen (D) Falls to -14 Against Blackburn (R) In Latest Poll

If the latest poll from The New York Times/Siena College is any indicator, Taylor Swift's endorsement of Democrat Phil Bredesen for Senate may have actually hurt his campaign.

The Times polled 593 voters across the state of Tennessee between October 8-11 and found Blackburn was leading 54-40 with a margin of error of 4.2 percent. Swift's endorsement of Bredesen was on October 8th.

According to the Real Clear Politics poll average, Blackburn has an edge of +5.5.

All polls should be taken with a grain of salt. Republicans need to show up in force in the midterms and should not assume any race is a given.

Blackburn has forcefully criticized Google censorship of conservatives and leaked internal emails from Google found an employee suggesting she was a "terrorist" who should not be negotiated with.

Big tech is going to use every tool at their disposal to try and get Democrats to vote and Republicans need to remain vigilant.

Taylor Swift Isn't Registered To Vote In TN

She's really 'committed' to that new cause of hers, isn't she? She couldn't *possibly* have been just pandering to the crowds after the super-heated partisanship of the Kavanaugh hearings, could she?  Yes, yes she could.

We say that because for all of her 'impassioned pleas' for liberal fans to vote against that Tennessee candidate that 'scares' her so, she didn't even register to vote, herself. At least, her name isn't showing up in the register.

Swift reportedly owns two homes in Nashville, Tennessee, both of which are in Davidson County. She also has several other residences in New York, Beverly Hills and Rhode Island.

If you put the name Taylor Swift with the county of residence as Davidson and year of birth as 1989 (Taylor Alison Swift was born on December 13, 1989), the state government's website says: "No record was found. Please verify the information below and search again.

[…] It's not clear what state Swift claims as her residence, but she specifically said on October 8th on Instagram, "I will be voting for Phil Bredesen for Senate and Jim Cooper for House of Representatives."

The website claims that their voter registration data is "current as of October 10th, 2018."  The last day to register to vote in Tennessee was October 9th.
